There are lots of mountain lovers and climbers that travel to Iran for it's great and unbelievable peaks yearly. The country is famous for mountaineering and rock climbing and ski back country. Alamkooh and Takht -e- soleiman area, especially the southern side of the mountain is a beautiful and atractive place for ski Touring in the spring in Iran. Due to heavy rainfall in winter in the area and many peaks over 4000 meters it is a suitable place for skiing to mid-spring. Peaks such as: Lashgarak – Gardonkooh – Chaloon and many other peaks in the area in the spring and in favorable conditions the main peak Alamkooh 4860m is also good to ascend. It is also a good place for acclimatization before climbing Damavand. you can see a spectacular view of Alborz mountains over the 4000 meters high peak.

Itinerary

Day 1:
Transfer to the Hut
Arrival. driving through Chaloos road (one of the most beautiful roads of Iran) to Marzanabad and Roudbarak. Overnight in MSFI hut in Roudbarak 2000m or Vandarbon 2250m depends on snow condition. Walk around the hut.

Day 2:
Lashgarak 4200m
Departure by car 4WD to the camp Tange Galoo 3200m. in the camp we will have expedition tents and also mess tent for big groups. after set up the camp, climb one and half hour to Hesarchal 3700m then climb Lashgarak 4200m and ski to the camp from north side. ski down to the camp. overnight in the camp.

Day 3:
Peak Marjikash 4580m
After breakfast start skin up from the camp to Hesarchal where we have been yesterday. climb Marjikash 4580m and ski to the camp from southeast side. overnight in the camp.

Peak Chaloon 4550m
after breakfast start skin up from the camp to Climb the peak Chaloon 4550m. have an amazing view from Alamkouh north wall and glacier. ride down to the camp.

Peak Alamkooh 4860m
After breakfast start skin up to Hesrchal then continue to Alamkouh 4860m secont highest peak in Iran. ride down to the camp. * As Alankouh is quite high, ski touring in this peak will be depends on condition: clients condition - weather - snow condition and mountain guide point of view.

Day 6:
Caspian sea
Return to the hut. drive to the Caspian Sea about 4 hours, walk around the city and Mahmudabad local Bazaar. overnight in a hotel.

Drive to Tehran via Haraz Road about 5 hours. in the way we can see Damavand 5610m. transfer to the airport. departure.
