What about supplies and equipment?
Each trip is unique, and for an exact breakdown of what is and isn’t included you should consult the specific trip itineraries. However, generally included on all trips are the following: all accommodation depend on the itinerary a twin shared basis, guest house or local home stay and all meals, tents and other camp related equipment, internal travel and experienced guides equipped with first aid.in some cases we can prepare equipment for the clients. something like tent, sleeping bag, mattress.
Can I rent ski equipment?
Yes. Regular ski gear and boots are rentable and the equipment might not be up to the standards of Chamonix! However this is for regular ski equipment only already you should bring your own Randonee, Telemark or any other specialized ski-mountaineering gears.
Do we have electricity during the trip?
Yes. Most of the time we have electricity and even internet in the huts but in the nature we use solar panels according to the weather.
I will be flying into the country before the start of the tour. Do I still get an airport transfer?
Our tours include an airport transfer only if you arrive on the first day of the tour. If you arrive one day before the start of the tour, we can organize an extra night’s accommodation for you. Details will be included in the pre-departure information we send you after your booking. If you arrive two days or more before the start of the tour, we can offer you our accommodation package. Extra nights can be added to this package if you require.
I want to buy some souvenirs like carpets when I am on the tour. Can I carry them with me on the tour?
There are many great opportunities for buying exciting and valuable souvenirs on many of our tours. However, it is not always practical to carry large items around. We recommend you buy souvenirs after your tour and before departure or put it on Iran Mountain Travel store room this is usually a better and safer policy.

Each of our tours is graded from 1-10 visible on each itinerary page, enabling you to determine prior to booking whether or not it’s suitable for you. You should be fairly confident that you match our criteria for taking part in that particular activity. Hardness 1-3 easy, 4-6 moderate, 7-9 difficult, 10 is extreme!
Do you cater to vegetarians?
Yes we do. On our forms we ask this question and plan accordingly. Please note this is for standard vegetarians and not vegans, since it is too difficult to cater by eliminating all dairy and other requirements of vegans. Vegetarians have to order special prepared food, as there is usually no vegetarian food available.
What kind of bread do the Iranians have?
Iranian bread is flat, and varying. Different sorts of flat bread, baked in traditional ways, is available.
Is there a lot of garlic in Iranian food?
can say most of Iranian food does not contain a lot of garlic. Just in the north of country because of humidity people use a lot of garlic in foods.

Is it safe to drink the water from the tap? What are other options?
Yes. The water is quite drinkable and safe. High standards and full chlorination are used for Iranian municipal water systems. Like most places in the world these days a variety of plastic bottled mineral water is also available.
What should I wear in Iran?
All females must wear a Hijab, the Islamic dress in public. There is no uniformity, however, regarding its type and the amount of coverage it provides. The black chador (the loose head-to-toe covering) isn’t compulsory. the most common wear is Manto , a full-length, usually long-sleeved overcoat, an overwhelming array of which is readily available in the shops. On the other hand Because of great influence of Islamic beliefs and off course importance of decency in Iranian culture, this country is one of the safest. No. According to Islam, it is forbidden to enjoy alcohol at all, no matter in what form. It is forbidden to have alcoholic food or beverage, to trade with alcohol, and to serve alcohol. Entering Iran; bringing alcohol is forbidden. It is possible to get non-alcoholic beverages almost all over the country.
What is the Iranian currency?
The Iranian official currency is Rial. Rials are available in coins (500,1000, 2000,5000 Rls.) and cash (5000, 10000, 20000, 50000, 100000 and 500.000 Rls.) Coins are only marked in Persian script and numerals, but one side of the notes is printed in English. Popular currency in Iran is TOMAN which is equivalent to 10 RIAL. The Toman (ten Rial) is often used to express amounts of money and prices of goods in Iran. Thus 1,000 Toman is 10,000 Rial and 1 million Toman is 10 million Rials.
Where can I exchange money?
It is possible to exchange money already at the airport, no matter at what time; but only special banks do exchange money. Lately, the exchange of foreign currencies has been allowed, and there are exchange shops available in most big cities. The exchange rates of these shops are usually higher than the official rate. The following currencies can be easily exchanged at any Exchange Shop: US Dollars, German Marks, British Pounds, French Franken, and Japanese Jen.
