Alborz, also spelled as Alburz, Elburz or Elborz, is a mountain range in northern Iran that stretches from the border of Azerbaijan along the western and entire southern coast of the Caspian Sea and finally runs northeast and merges into the Aladagh Mountains in the northern parts of Khorasan. This mountain range is divided into Western, Central, and Eastern Alborz Mountains. The Western Alborz Range (usually called the Talish Mountains) runs south southeastward almost along the western coast of the Caspian Sea. The Central Alborz (the Alborz Mountains in the strictest sense) runs from west to east along the entire southern coast of the Caspian Sea, while the Eastern Alborz runs in a northeasterly direction towards the northern parts of the Khorasan region southeast of the Caspian Sea. Mount Damavand, the highest mountain in Iran and the Middle East, is located in the Central Alborz Mountains. Central part of Alborz is include many 4000m peaks suitable for ski touring also because of plenty of snow in the winter is include big ski resorts like Dizin, Darbandsar, Tochal and Shemshak .

Day 1:
Ski touring in Dizin area
Meet at the airport. drive 2hours to Dizin valley. for the first day we ascend a small peak about 600m altitude difference start from 2400 up to peak Godjari 3050m. overnight in a nice local house.

Ski tour in Hezarla peak 3600m
after breakfast driving 30min to Varangehrood village. start climbing from the village at 2500m. ascend the peak Hezarla 3600m and ski down to the village about 6 hours. overnight in local house in Dizin.

Day 3:
Full day ski tour in Alborz - peak Sekeno 3850m
after breakfast driving 30min to Varangehrood village. start climbing from the village at 2500m. ascend the peak Sekeno 3850m and ski down to the village about 8 hours. overnight in local house in Dizin.

Ski tour in Golezard peak 3550m
after early breakfast driving about 3hours to the northeast of Tehran via Haraz road. start from Polur at 2400 to Golezard peak about 3350m and ski down. then drive 30min to the Reineh Village 2050m and overnight in mountain hut in Reineh.

ski tour in peak Parvaneh 3950m
After breakfast drive about 1 hour to Lasem village 2500m. full day ski touring in Doberar range – peak Parvaneh 3900m. back to Reineh. Overnight mountain hut.

After breakfast Drive to mineral hot spring village. Enjoy the hot local spring come from Damavand volcano. Visit historical Kafarlkeli cave goes back to 1100 years ago. Take the lunch. Drive to Tehran. Departure
