Mount Damavand stands as the pinnacle of ski touring experiences in Iran, offering unparalleled opportunities for ski mountaineering, wild ski expeditions, and snowboarding. Blessed with abundant snowfall during the winter months due to its proximity to the Caspian Sea, this iconic peak provides a winter playground for enthusiasts of all levels. The southern route is particularly inviting for those new to the sport or looking for a less technical challenge, serving as an ideal pathway for both skiing and snowboarding. For the more seasoned adventurers, the other faces of the mountain offer a higher degree of difficulty and technicality. It's important to note that the volume of snowfall can fluctuate annually, influenced by the prevailing weather conditions. The ski season generally commences in mid-November and extends through to mid-May, providing a generous timeframe for planning your winter sports adventure.
Maranjab desert is located by the city of Aran-o-Bidgol, one of the ancient desert cities of Isfahan province. The name of this desert came from the Abassi Karvanserai near the Aran-o-Bidgol Salt Lake which was built by Shah Abass Safavi on 1603AD to protect the Silk Road. The beauties of Maranjab desert are vast Aran-o-BidgolSalt Lake with its wonderful Floating Island (its call floating because it is as if there is a lost ship in the vast horizon of the desert), huge sand dunes and tamarisk trees forest. There is a Karvanserai with a pool of water in front of it in this area which is a camping point of Maranjab desert. To enjoy the touch of the sands on your fingers while walking bare foot on the sand hills and watching the dawn of the sun among the Tamarisk trees and sunset far away, behind the horizon of the salt lake and unforgettable desert night ski where you can pick stars.

Day 1:
Transfer to the Hut
Transfer from airport IKA to Tehran and Reineh village base camp of Damavand south face 2050m, short walk around, overnight in the hut with private room and shower.

Ski tour on Golezard peak 3550m
After breakfast driving about 30min. full day ski touring in middle of Alborz Golezard peak about 3550. Overnight in mountain hut in Reineh hut.

Day 3:
Ski tour on peak Parvaneh 3950m
After breakfast drive about 1 hour to Lasem village 2500m. full day ski touring in Doberar range – peak Parvaneh 3950m. back to Reineh. Overnight mountain hut.

Day 4:
High camp 4200m
Driving to about 2500m depends on snow. skin up to the high camp (Renew Bargah Sewom) about 4200m. We have about 4-6 hours climbing. Overnight in hut. (Renew Bargah is a very nice warm comfortable hut. wooden inside , mattress , table , kitchen , WIFI , hot water etc...

Day 5:
Summit day
Start climbing early in the morning about 5 am. We have about 6-8 hours climbing to the top. Skiing to the hut and back to the road where the cars will waiting for us. drive to Reineh. Overnight in Reineh hut

Drive to Kashan
Drive to Tehran and Kashan about 6hours. Take a short visit in Kashan and drive to Matinabad desert Eco camp. overnight in Matinabad .

Desert hiking
Take some Safari in Desert an already visit the sand hills in Desert. visit an old castle near the camp. during the night we can make the fire and enjoy the night sky. overnight in Eco camp.
