North wall of Alamkouh is located in Takhte Soleaman area south of Caspian Sea . This wall has about 450- 500m vertical altitude and has route with various difficulties such as : French route , polish route , Italian route, Arash route etc. and the famous German flank . Base camp will set up on Alamchal glacier at about 4200m. Difficulty of this wall climbing routes is changeable from free to aid climbing from 5.9 to 5.12
Our guides have climbed some of routes for the first time in the winter 2012. German flank is located in the north west of the wall and is possible to climb in a long day from the base cam on Alamchal glacier on 4200m. climbing on German flank is more scrambling and it has just 3 difficult part that you may need protection. there is also some fix rope on the route.

Day 1:
Drive to the hut
Meet at the airport. Drive about 6hours from Tehran to Marzanabad and Vandarbon hut 2200m.

Hiking to High camp 4200m
After breakfast hiking up to the Alamchal glacier 4200m. about 6hours hiking. luggage carried by the porters.

Day 3:
Climbing the route
Early in the morning start climbing up to 4500m pass then start scrambling about 6 to 8 hours to the top. climb down from the south route to Hesarchal camp and continue to 3200m Tangegalu. take the cars 1hour to Vandarbon. luggage carried bu the porters from north face.

Day 4:
Caspian Sea
After late breakfast, drive back to Caspian Sea 2hrs. Drive back to Tehran. in the way we take a break in beautiful green Chaloos road for a nice lunch.
