Sabalan is the third highest peak in Iran and a dormant volcanic mountain. Sabalan is considered by nature lovers because of its natural hot springs, beautiful summer and winter nature and beautiful lake at the top of the mountain. All the peaks of Sabalan area are covered with ice and permanent snow and glaciers all year round. There is a ski resort called " Alvars” which is of interest to tourists. The height of its highest peak called "Sultan Savalan" reaches 4,811 meters. Sabalan Mountain overlooks the three cities of Ardabil, Ahar and Meshgin shahr. This mountain is located 25 km southeast of Meshgin shahr and about 40 km from Ardabil. As a result of Sabalan's heavy snow fall in winter due to its cold and humid weather, this area is an amazing place for ski touring in late winter and eraly spring.

Arrival
Arrived to Tabriz airport. transfer to the hotel. half day city tour.

Kamal peak 3700m
Drive to Sahand ski resort. Ascend and ski Kamal peak 3700m. Back to the hotel.

Aighar peak 3700m
Drive to Meshkin-Shahr and Durna Eco camp. after a short rest ascend to Aighar peak 3700m via Aighar valley. have a nice time in Sabalan Thermal Springs. back to the camp.

Day 4:
Kasra peak 4000m
After breakfast drive for 15min then start climbing from 2400m. Ascend and ski to Kasra peak 4000m. back to the camp.

Sabalan hut 3700m
After breakfast, drive to Shabil. Start climbing to Sabalan hut 3700m. overnight in the hut.

Sabalan 4811m
After breakfast, start climbing to the top of Sabalan Volcano 4811m. ski down to the hut then to Shabil. take a rest and fun in Shabil Thermal springs. back to the camp. goodbye party in the camp. enjoy local meal and music. having IMT souvenir.
