Canyoning in Alamut

Qazvin province is one of the most beautiful provinces of Iran. This province hosts tourists all year round who are eager to visit historical and natural tourist attractions. The largest number of canyons in Qazvin province are located in Alamut region, where eight canyon have been identified in Alamut and Tarom. . Among the canyons of Qazvin, we can mention Pasdiv Valley. This canyon with a distance of 13 km has 14 waterfalls of 2 to 60 meters, which is located in western Alamut. The beautiful waterfalls of this canyon have a pool of one to three meters. There is some trees in the canyon as following: willow, sycamore, fig, raspberry, grape and wild pomegranate trees. Pasdiv is include fauna such as crabs, pigeons and butterflies. Leopards have also been seen and reported by the locals. Rouhabad village is about 65 km away from Qazvin city. You have an easy walk from the village to the beginning of the first waterfall and by attending this area you can visit and enjoy beautiful waterfalls along the way. Pasdiv is located in 1240 meters above sea level.
