Mount Damavand stands as the pinnacle of ski touring experiences in Iran, offering unparalleled opportunities for ski mountaineering, wild ski expeditions, and snowboarding. Blessed with abundant snowfall during the winter months due to its proximity to the Caspian Sea, this iconic peak provides a winter playground for enthusiasts of all levels.
The southern route is particularly inviting for those new to the sport or looking for a less technical challenge, serving as an ideal pathway for both skiing and snowboarding. For the more seasoned adventurers, the other faces of the mountain offer a higher degree of difficulty and technicality.
